A real football journey - not theory, not hype.

Early Football Journey

The Footballer Blueprint was created because too many players and parents are left guessing. From a young age, I grew up playing Saturday and Sunday league football and going on trials at professional academies without ever being properly shown how football really works or what pathways truly existed.

That lack of clarity followed me into my first major academy experience. During a six-week trial at Wolverhampton Wanderers, I was asked to sign early in the process. My first real exposure to how quickly football moves and how unprepared many families are for the reality of that environment.

Full-Time Pro Academy Football

I later moved into full-time football with Coventry City, captaining the Under-16s and signing a two-year scholarship before going on to captain the Under-18s. Those years taught me the standards, pressure, and expectations that come with professional development football.


Alongside the football, I also experienced the mental side of the game in a very real way. Full-time football is demanding, and many players struggle in silence without guidance, support, or understanding when challenges arise.

Semi-Pro Reality

After leaving the academy system, I entered semi-professional football and quickly realised how confusing the football pyramid can be. Without clear guidance, it’s easy to make poor decisions around clubs and opportunities - mistakes I experienced first-hand.


Those experiences showed me how many talented players drift without direction, not because they lack ability, but because they lack understanding of how the semi-professional game truly works.

Leadership, Coaching & Long-Term Career

Over time, I transitioned into coaching and football management, building a long-term career within the game. I am now Vice Chairman of Romulus Football Club and have been part of successful, trophy-winning environments in semi-professional football.

This journey is exactly what shaped the Footballer Blueprint.
